GE PLC Module 369-HI-R-M-0-0 369-HI-R-0-0-0-0-E MOTOR PROTECTION RELAY
Equipped with an optional metering feature and twelve RTD inputs, this model of General Electric Multilin's 369 Motor Protection series safeguards and controls motors and accompanying motor equipment of medium size. The 369-HI-R-M-0-0 employs technology like ground overcurrent protection and start inhibiting to protect motors and extend system life. Users are able to use this unit's metering capabilities to track quantities like voltage, watts, power factor, frequency, and energy. Users can then create setpoints to enable protective functions related to these parameters, adding to the versatility of the system.
The relay runs on highly configurable setpoints that guide the protective functions of the system and generally establish system functions. The Multilin 369-HI-R-M-0-0 features the 369 Motor Settings Auto-Configurator, making setpoint creation easier than ever. Users can further modify these setpoints after auto-configuration, further specifying and refining setting files. Setpoints can be created, edited, or deleted through the relay's 40-character LCD and keypad, or more efficiently modified through the EnerVista 369 software program. Computers running EnerVista 369 can connect to the relay through the RS232 port, and the software program offers a better display for system metrics and a generally improved User Interface.
This 369-HI-R-M-0-0's optional twelve Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD) are able to assess actual temperatures within the system. In this unit, each RTD's three wires are composed of 100 Ω platinum, 100 Ω nickel, 120 Ω nickel,10 Ω copper. As temperature shifts in the system, RTDs generate a resistance value that can be reliably measured and converted to Fahrenheit.
369 Motor Management Relay
The 369 Motor Management Relay is a digital relay that provides protection and monitoring for three phase motors and their associated mechanical systems. A unique feature of the 369 Relay is its ability to 'learn' individual motor parameters and to adapt itself to each application. Values such as motor inrush current, cooling rates and acceleration time may be used to improve the 369 Relay's protective capabilities.
The 369 Relay offers optimum motor protection where other relays cannot, by using the FlexCurve™ custom overload curve, or one of the fifteen standard curves.
The 369 Relay has one RS232 front panel port and three RS485 rear ports. The Modbus RTU protocol is standard to all ports. Setpoints can be entered via the front keypad or by using the EnerVista 369 Setup software and a computer. Status, actual values and troubleshooting information are also available via the front panel display or via communications.
