RXPDK 21H 1MRK000844-BB
The RXPDK 21H relay requires a dc-dc converter type RXTUG for auxiliary voltage supply +24 V. Connection of voltage RL shall be made only when the binary input is used. The relay is delivered with a short-circuiting connector RTXK for mounting
on the rear of the terminal base. This connector will automatically short-circuit the current input when the relay is removed from its terminal base.

NOTE! The auxiliary voltage supply should be interrupted or the output circuits should be blocked to avoid the risk of unwanted alarm or tripping, before the relay is plugged into or withdrawn from its terminal base. 

615 Series

Ready-made adaptations to application-specific requirements

The 615 series relays are available in ready-made standard configurations for fast and easy setup. All standard configurations can be tailored to meet application-specific requirements using the IEC 61850-compliant Protection and Control
IED Manager PCM600.

Human-machine interface
The 615 series relays are equipped with a large graphical display which can show customizable single-line diagrams (SLD) with position indication for the circuit breaker, disconnectors and the earthing switch. Also measured values provided by the chosen standard configuration can be displayed. The SLDs are customized using PCM600 and can have multiple pages for easy access to selected information. The SLDs can be accessed not only locally but also via the web browser-based HMI that has now
been enriched with a number of usability enhancing features.

 

REF615  Application

The REF615 protection relay provides comprehensive overcurrent and earth-fault protection for overhead lines and cable feeders across various distribution networks, including isolated neutral, resistance-earthed, compensated and effectively-earthed systems.

The relay features enhanced earth-fault protection with a unique multifrequency admittance-based function that delivers superior sensitivity and selectivity for modern cable networks. This advanced protection reliably detects all earth-fault types-continuous, transient and intermittent-combining precision with operational reliability.

Binary Input Module

i-bus® KNX Binary Input Module Function

Designed for the RC/A 8.1 controller, these KNX binary input modules (BE/M 4.230.1, BE/M 4.24.1, BE/M 4.12.1) monitor switch contacts through four input channels. They support various signal types including 230V AC, 24V DC, and passive contacts. Using plug-in terminals and ETS software, they enable unified control within the KNX system.

The following operator functions are possible with the devices described here (selection):
• Switching and dimming of lighting (also 1 button operation)
• Operation of blinds and shutters (also 1 button operation)
• Sending of values e.g. temperature values
• Control and storing of lightscenes
• Control of different loads with multiple operation
• Operation of several loads in a defined switching sequence
• Counting of pulses and operations
• Reading out of technical contacts (e.g. relays)
Each input can take over any of the functions described above.
